Description:
The Varsinais-Suomen welfare area is requesting bids for the procurement of substance abuse and addiction services. The aim of the tender is to obtain a procurement contract for use by the Varsinais-Suomen welfare area and secure substance abuse services for the area's residents when the welfare area's own services are not suitable the customer's needs or the capacity of its own services is insufficient. The welfare area of Varsinais-Suomen produces the substance abuse services needed by the residents of the area itself and buys services that supplement its own operations and coordinates the entirety of substance abuse services. The service package is made up of different operators as a collaboration. The welfare area of Varsinais-Suomen implements acquired substance abuse services partly as its own operation, but supplements its own services by purchasing them from an external service provider. The strategic orientation is an emphasis on open services and the priority of own services and institutional services reducing the need by developing open services and the service package. With this request for tenders, the customer opens procurement procedure VARHA/26850/02.07.00.00/2023. In this case, the bidder who did not submit a bid during the establishment phase or was not selected in the relevant procurement procedure may submit a bid in connection with the reopening of procurement.
