• System solution for purchasing and processing purchase invoices The object of the procurement is a system for purchasing and processing purchase invoices. The purchasing and purchase invoice processing system must support the order-to-payment process and operations of the City of Tampere as a key tool in controlling the process, utilizing contracts, monitoring finances and producing procurement information. The system's role would be to enable transparent, traceable and data-driven procurement processes and to lighten the manual work in the different stages of purchasing and processing purchase invoices. The system must ensure that purchases are routed to the correct contracts and suppliers, and that order approval, invoicing and monitoring take place in a consistent manner. The processing of purchase invoices is covered the electronic receipt, allocation, verification, approval and billing of purchase invoices, as well as tracking invoices throughout the entire processing process. The system must support the processing of both ordered and non-ordered purchase invoices, enable utilizing automation and rule-based control and ensuring the correctness, timeliness and consistency of invoice processing.
