• The development company Naturpolis Oy and the Taivalkoski industrial area's development milestones - (TKI-Taival) project procure as an expert service: The object of the procurement is a road map to be drawn up for the Taivalkoski industrial area and an operating model that enables clear guidelines The goal of the project is to initiate the systematic development of the Taivalkoski industrial area, for which a need has been identified in cooperation with the municipality of Taivalkoski and the companies of the industrial area. The marketing of the industrial area is currently being developed, but to support the further development of the area, a road map is needed, which takes into account e.g. the possibilities of the bio and circular economy. The road map describes the area's current state, vision and key measures as well as schedules, responsibilities and resources to reach the goals. In addition, existing and missing ones are mapped key partners (e.g. companies and R&D operators), monitoring metrics and risk management are defined. In addition, the implementation and development of the operational model of the industrial area is supported in order to promote the effective implementation of the measures emerging from the road map. During the process is identified development needs that can be taken forward as part of R&D cooperation, for example in relation to the bio- and circular economy and resource efficiency.
