• Description:
• The city of Raahe is asking for offers to purchase energy wood chopped from its storage piles. The storage piles are located in different parts of Raahe (see attachments), the piles are uncovered and the wood in them is almost fresh. The timber has dried in them for an average of approx. 9 months. The storage spaces must be cleared of timber on site, unless otherwise agreed with the customer, by April 12, 2026. Additional information and locations of the objects in the attached file. Energy timber always consists of logging residues and whole timber of different sizes up to a diameter of 60cm. Plowing of storage areas can be ordered free of charge from the customer no later than two business days before picking. If necessary, the customer supplies the selected organization with a list of the properties of origin of the timber of the energy wood stacks, to verify the origin of the timber. The tenderer delivers the weighing certificate of the transport equipment to the customer, the weighing certificate also serves as the tenderer's basis for payment and in it the weight of the wood chips must be in €/tn. The tenderer undertakes to chip / crush and to transport all wood material according to the agreement. The tenderer must have versatile equipment suitable for the job. The bidder has familiarized himself with the locations of the wood piles to be sold in the "Wooden warehouses spring 2026.pdf" appendix before submitting the bid. The bidder is obliged to compensate for any damage caused by chipping or transportation to the structures of the road leading to the customer's storage location or other structures.
