Description:
The procurement concerns the transportation, reception and processing of Metsaesairila Oy's organic waste (bio-waste and sewage sludge).
In accordance with Mikkeli City Group's strategic goal, the competition aims to minimize emissions from transport by requiring biogas-powered transport equipmentin the transport of sewage sludge from Metsae-Sairila's wastewater treatment plant to the treatment plant, in the transport of biowaste between the reception site and the treatment plant, and for the customer of the transport of excesses, undercuts and rejects suitable for energy use, and to take into account road transportenvironmental impacts in the qualitative assessment.
In accordance with the strategic goal of the Mikkeli City Group, the competition aims to minimize the amount of plastic that ends up in the compost, requiring the separation of plastic from bio-waste and thus enabling the further use of the compost as fertilizera.
The aim of the competition is to create the conditions for the profitable production of Finnish environmentally friendly transport fuel in accordance with Mikkeli City Group's strategic goal.
The duration of the contract is 3 years (February 1, 2024-January 31, 2027) 0 - 24 month option. The option decision is made by two at the latestone year after the procurement decision was made. In the option, price revisions are possible based on the index. The decision to use the option and possible price revision is made by the customer.
