Description:
The procurement concerns the transportation, reception and processing of Metsasairila Oy's organic waste (bio-waste, sewage sludge and grease well sludge).
In accordance with Mikkeli City Group's strategic goal, the competition aims to minimize emissions from transport by requiring the use of biogastransport equipment in the transport of sewage sludge and in the transport of bio-waste between the reception site and the treatment plant.from bio-waste and thus enabling the further use of digestate as fertilizer.
The competition aims to create the conditions for the profitable production of Finnish environmentally friendly transport fuel in accordance with the strategic goal of the Mikkeli City Group.
The duration of the contract is 2024-202812-36 month option. The option decision is made no later than three years after the acquisition decision was made. In the option, price revisions are possible based on the index. The decision to use the option and possible price revision is made by the customer.
Estimation of the amount of waste to be sanitized annuallyin:
* 7000 - 11000 t/y biowaste
* 5000 - 6500 t/y sewage sludge
* 300 - 800 t/y grease well sludge
