- Lapland's welfare area ("procurement unit") invites companies acting as potential bidders to participate in a market dialogue regarding a possible future tender for textile laundry and rental services. Now in the planning phase and before the start of a possible competitionIn addition, the procurement unit maps the market and finds out the companies' views on the factors related to the successful implementation of the tender. The cleaning and textile maintenance services of the Lapland welfare area are responsible for the textile maintenance services in the entire welfare area. Textile laundry andhospitals that use rental services, care and nursing facilities, units that provide outpatient services, rescue stations and first aid stations. In addition, residents living in home-like care units use laundry services to some extent for their own clothes, bedding and interior textiles, which are not necessarily suitable for institutional washing. According to the preliminary plan, the procurement of textile laundry and rental services would concern staff protective clothing, patient textiles, bedding and linen, cleaning textiles and possible other textiles, for example a curtainand.
