• The Finnish Museum Agency, Suomenlinna Hoitokunta department ("Procurement Agency") tenders the construction contract ("Contract") of the pump shaft of the old plate hall B5 of the Suomenlinna shipyard. In the contract, the steel structures of the pump shaft of the old plate hall B5 of the Suomenlinna shipyard are renewed and new foundations will be built at the bottom of the shaft for future submersible pumps. As a result of a pipe break in Midsummer 2025, almost all the structures and pipelines in the pump shaft were destroyed. The pump pit is about 10 meters deep. Old leading to the sea the outlet pipe has been filled in.
