Description:
In the Taaveti swimming beach construction project, the beach area will be renovated and rebuilt in accordance with the planning documents, but the scope of the work will be reduced. Taavetti's beach is located at Niemeläntie 75 54500 Taavetti. Current pier structures will be partially dismantled and new pontoon pier parts with structures will be built. The current shelter and the outbuilding on the top of the cliff will be demolished. The lighting will be renewed and supplemented. The terrain is shaped to build flat operational areas. Embankments are supported with natural stone walls and differences in height are connected with stair structures. The leveling of the parking area will be softened. Plantings are added. New clothes shelters, a separate storage building and toilets will be built on the beach area. New furniture will be placed in the area and operational equipment. With this call for tenders, the municipality of Luumäki is asking for a tender for renewing the wooden structures of the fixed pier, making terraces and a storage building. We want to get the work done before the start of the swimming season. Bidders are obliged to get to know the site and to take more precise measurements of the existing pier. The works must be carried out in accordance with good construction practices and must comply with laws and regulations.
