- With this procurement notice, Itärata Oy initiates the procurement procedure regarding the preparation of the master plan for Itärata. Itärata Oy is looking for candidates or groups of candidates to prepare the general plan for Itärata. The preparation of the general plan is divided into two to: Part A: Runway - PorvooPart B: Porvoo - KoriaParts A and B are tendered as a single procurement as a negotiation procedure so that a candidate or group of candidates can offer one or more parts. Common plans have been made for different parts of the master plan development phase, which would start in August 2026. The planning phase will start in January 2027. The general planning task applies to the entire project. In the project, the total length of the track alignment from Lentorada to Kouvola is approximately 118 kilometers. Completely the new track section is 110 kilometers, of which tunnel sections total about 34 kilometers. There are going to be 53 bridges on the railway line. Road arrangements are coming to about 26 highways. It has been estimated that about 40 kilometers of floor reinforcements are needed, and about 40 kilometers of noise reduction 16 kilometers.
