Description:
The city of Porvoo is asking for bids for the management of phone orders for the Kyläkyyti service (https://www.porvoo.fi/asuminen-ymparisto/kadut-ja-liikenne/porvoon-bussi/kylakyyti/). Kyläkyyti is a call service serving the Porvoo area. By ordering Kyläkyydi, the Customer can access to travel to places and times to which the scheduled bus service does not go. The customer can order a ride either from the online service or by phone within the limitations of the existing service description. The goal of Kyläkyyti is to make it easier to get around and it is an important part of Porvoo's public transport. Kyläkyyti offers a flexible and barrier-free transportation service for people of all ages. The order process works so that the Kyläkyyti Customer calls the Supplier that is the subject of this competition and orders I took a ride. He states his starting address and the destination to which he is traveling, as well as the desired time. The supplier records the journey in the Vinka system contracted by the city. The supplier must route the journeys so that there are as many of the same people on board as possible customer coming from the direction. The city is responsible for the costs of using the system. Currently, the service has around 600-900 customers per month. Currently, about 80% of orders come via the phone service. The city aims to increase Use of the Kyläkyyti service. The contract period is 1+1 years. The estimated start time of the contract period is 1 January 2026 and ends on 31 December. 2026.
