- 1. PROCUREMENT OVERVIEW
Kokkolan Energiaverkot Oy ("Client" or "Procurement Entity") is procuring the implementation of the KVR contract for the natural gas distribution pipeline for the Kokkola large industrial area (KIP). The natural gas distribution pipeline enables the distribution of natural and biogas to the industrial users of the Kokkola Large Industrial Areaille from the LNG terminal, which will be built near the industrial area. The customer is tendering for the delivery of the LNG terminal at the time of publication of this call for tenders. The client's goal is for the delivery of the LNG terminal to be completed by the end of 2024 at the latest.
Natural gas distribution pipeline KThe acquisition of the VR contract is part of the overall LNG terminal project. The overall project includes the following sub-areas:
1.LNG terminal acquisition,
2.LNG terminal related earthworks acquisition,
3.LNG terminal related additional equipment acquisitions,
4.Natural gas distribution pipeline acquisition (this projectinta), and
5.Project management services for the above-mentioned sub-areas.
For the sake of clarity, it is stated that the subject of this procurement is only the procurement of natural gas distribution pipelines according to section 4. The customer implements the other sub-areas 1 3 and 5 as separate procurements.
