Description:
The planning group's joint procurement concerns the Viinikankatu underground access and the first extension of the P-Hämp underground parking facility, which are implemented as a joint procurement by the City of Tampere and Finnpark Parkisto Oy. The driving connection works smoothly drive-in from the south and east of the city center and creates the conditions for the development of a wider underground street network. The plans for the drive-in of the road from the surface of the earth to the rock are mostly ready. The driving connection starts from Viinikankatu to the Atalpa building next to and passes under the foundations of the Kaleva crossing bridge. The route continues underground below the grounds of Tampere Hall, Åkerlundinkatu and from there below the railway area and Rautatinkatu, where the extension of the parking facility is located. Driving connection is implemented simultaneously with the extension of P-Hämp. Both solutions implement the city center's underground site plan approved in 2022. Plans at the level of a project plan have been drawn up for the whole of the joint procurement before what is being procured now planning phase. The request for tender concerns the design group to be procured for the overall design, which prepares the plans suitable for tenders for contractors. In addition, the design team prepares the implementation phase under the guidance of the selected contractors the plans. The goal is to ensure a technical, functional and cost-effective final result in accordance with the client's goals, as well as a seamless coordination between the city and Finnpark Parkisto Oy's areas of responsibility.
