Description:
The Viikki campus is a center for teaching and research in life sciences, agriculture and forestry, as well as pharmacy and veterinary medicine. Almost 1,900 people work on the Viikki campus, and there are more than 6,000 students on campus. The campus has a university animal hospital, Viikki research facility andViikin normal school.
We are requesting an offer for the organization of meals for students and staff as well as order catering and cafeteria services for the restaurant facilities of Biokeskus 1 located at Viikinkaari 9, 00790 Helsinki. The start time of the services is in the lobby and kitchen areas of the buildingonna after the completion of the 2023-24 renovation, from the beginning of the autumn semester of 2024.
The restaurant premises and the equipment used in them are owned by Helsinki University Properties Oy (HYK) and the University of Helsinki has leased the premises and equipment for its use. The premises are furnished and the kitchen vwill be discussed in connection with the renovation.
The restaurant operator must undertake to comply with the regulations on student catering in their operations. (54/2012 Decree of the Government on the basis of subsidizing meals for university students and Kela's instructions
