- The object of the acquisition includes the study of the traffic system, traffic and traffic flow by modeling. Different modes of transport (car traffic, public transport, bicycle traffic, pedestrians and other modes of movement) are discussed both separately and as a whole. The target of the acquisition includes the following tasks: • Preparation of traffic forecasts • Preparing functionality reviews The object of the procurement may include an assessment of the effects of traffic and the transport system, planning of the transport system level, public transport line design, project evaluation, functionality reviews, planning and optimization of traffic light programming for the models, and accessibility evaluation. The review area of the assignment can be an overall review an examination of a city-level area or a narrower demarcated area. The assignment may include modeling, evaluation and analysis of different years and alternatives. It may also include developing and calibrating the models used. Assignments may involve interaction with participants, workshops or the use of other interaction methods and reporting of results. The supplier must use a traffic modeling and/or functionality review program that is compatible with Helsinki with the programs used by the city, which are: the traffic modeling software Emme and the functionality review software Vissim.
