Description:
The Pori city council will have its meeting on 1.12. (§ 514) decided to authorize ELYM/urban development and ownership steering unit to start the procurement procedure for tendering the traffic supporting the Pori-Lassila-Lavia-Pori business. The contract period is 2 + 1 years. Schedule, route and ticket price (5 €/passenger) are still in accordance with the city government's decision of 24 February 2025 (§ 59). The competitive operating period is 11 February 2026-9 February 2028. The RFP includes a possible one-year option (contract 2 + 1 years) for the period 10 February 2028-7 February 2029. The city government decides on using the option. Provided the option is activated, the terms of the contract apply as they are. The traffic is run as a ring route Pori - Lassila - Lavia - Kullaa - Pori twice on Wednesdays. Departures from platform 2 of Pori market square on Wednesdays at 8:50 and 15:05. More detailed route description and schedule plan attached. Transport you can get on at any official bus stop along the route or at another stop agreed separately with the customer's operator by waving your hand to the driver. The service does not make route exceptions. Transport does not pick up customers from apartments or shops yards, but only use official public transport stops along the route or other stopping places agreed with the operator.
