Description:
Central Finland's Energy Center is procuring an earth moving service to move the dredging mass piles formed from the dredging of Pyhäjärvi in the municipalities of Konnevesi and Äänekoski to the dumping area in spring winter 2026. The task includes in autumn 2025 a floating loading, moving and spreading the dredged masses spread with an excavator to the spreading area. The volume of dredged masses excavated with a floating excavator is approximately 13,000m3. The dredging was mainly carried out to a depth of about 50 cm to the surface peat as removal of vegetation. Pouring mass piles formed by dredging are achieved by using working mortar hardened and frozen by the customer. The masses will be transferred to one spreading area at the renewal felling site near Lake Pyhäjärvi for the forest pattern. Mass transportation distances vary between approximately 1000 meters and 1500 meters. The work is carried out as described in the attached service description. A prerequisite for the implementation of the project is sufficient freezing of the used drives. Project may have to be implemented only partially if the channels leading to all dredging mass beds cannot be frozen to a safe strength.
