The procurement is divided into sub-areas by language pairs. The offeror can offer either to one or to severale for the subdivision.
According to the framework arrangement, all translators selected must be authorized translators. Directive 2010/64/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council on the right to translations in criminal proceedings requires that the judicial authorities of the member states usein nettelting, the primary test is translators with the necessary qualifications, registered in the register. In Finland, the register referred to in the directive is the register of authorized translators.
The documents to be translated are official documents, mainly documents related to official procedures,the content of which, in addition to legal language, may require mastering the special vocabulary of economics and finance, IT, medicine, etc. Translations must follow the client's instructions and vocabulary, and take into account the target group and purpose of the translation.
