• Description:
• The object of the procurement is the translation services of confidential documents for Customs. Based on the acquisition, a multi-supplier framework arrangement will be established, the terms of which have been confirmed. The acquisition includes 34 sub-areas, i.e. language pairs. The translation work is done in the premises and equipment of the Customs. The object of the acquisition and that requirements are described in the request for tenders and its appendices. The bidder can bid for one or more sub-areas. The object of the procurement is described in more detail in appendix 3 of the request for tenders. CONTRACT PERIOD The procurement contracts are valid for a fixed period of one (2) years. Validity of procurement contracts can be extended after the actual contract period with a two (2) year option period. SCOPE OF THE PROCUREMENT The maximum amount estimated in the framework arrangement is 7,000 pages over four (4) years. The maximum value includes both the listed language pairs (about 90 percent of the acquisition) and the listed languages foreign language pairs (about 10 percent). The information on the quantities of documents to be translated in the tender request are estimates. The customer is therefore not committed to the presented quantities and translations are ordered during the contract period always according to the current need.
