Description:
The object of the procurement is the transportation of the deceased and autopsy transport services. The following cities/municipalities of Joensuu, Heinavesi, Ilomantsi, Juuka, Kitee, Kontiolahti, Lieksa, Liperi, Nurmes, Outokumpu, Polvijarvi, Raakkyla, Tohmajarvi are covered by transportation to the North Karelia welfare region.
Of the deceased transport services the acquisition concerns the transfer of the deceased:
1. Transportation of the deceased from the place of death (e.g. the deceased's home or a private nursing home or serviced housing unit) to the nearest storage facility for the deceased.
2. Transportation of the deceased to the North Karelia Central Hospital for confirmation of death and return to the place of storage at the place of death, including the waiting time required to establish death (max. 30 min), at the same time, round-trip transport.
3. Transportation of the deceased from the cities/municipalities of the welfare area to the Central Hospital of North Karelia (e.g. for an autopsy or to confirm death), but leave the deceased at the Central Hospital to storage facilities and not transported back immediately.
Transports from the Central Hospital of North Karelia back to the storage places in the province:
regarding the deceased who have been brought from the welfare area of Siu sote to the North Karelia Central Hospital due to the declaration of death and the deceased has been left in the central hospital custody (and not immediately transported back due to a waiting time of more than 30 minutes) or for an autopsy, and who, after the declaration of death or autopsy performed at the central hospital, are transported on a weekday back to the place of death in the Siu sote area, as mis...
