- Description:
- The City of Turku's corporate administration procurement services is requesting bids for fireworks for the period September 1, 2026-September 30, 2028, after which the contract may be extended by the Customer's decision under the original terms with two (2) one (1) year options. Bids are requested of the three annual fireworks displays. The city of Turku organizes three fireworks every year, one on Turku Day and two on New Year's Eve. Turku Day fireworks are organized on the third Sunday of September at 21:00 and on New Year's Eve fireworks for families with children at 18:00 and for others at 24:00. The shooting location is the field located on Samppalinna hill, except for children's fireworks in Kupittaanpuisto. The duration of the fireworks should be 7 - 8 minutes and it should contain an impressive number of bigger and smaller ones fireworks and serial fireworks, and at the end of the show, a final climax. The service provider is responsible for all the authority and land use permits required by the show and takes care of the safety, protection and cleaning of the shooting location. Competition is held as a reverse tender, where the amount to be used is given in advance. Turku Day fireworks €5000 New Year's fireworks €5000 Children's New Year's fireworks €5000 One (1) service provider will be selected.
