- VTT's pyrolysis Pilot The equipment is being modified to fit the plastic feed and therefore requires 2 heating/cooling devices for the recovery unit to adjust the temperature of the recovery unit. The cooling units are connected to the heat exchangers of the recovery unit by means of pipes, so the heat is transferred from the process to the radiator. If necessary, cooling equipment can be cooled with cold tap water. Cooling devices can be placed outside the process so they do not need to be ATEX-rated. The estimated cooling power is 25 kW for the first device and 10 kW for the second device. The estimated fluid flow rate in the first radiator is 50 l/min and the second is 25 l/min.
