Description : UHPLC-QqQ-MS/MS instrument for steroid analytics in biological science. Both ESI and APCI ionization capability is needed. The instrument should be suitable for qualitative and quantitative purposes and software should be suitable for data acquisition, exploration and quantification with easy data export.
This instrument will be designed as a research tool for the quantification of a broad panel of steroids and related structures such as oxysterols from primarily animal tissue. Therefore, the instrument will need to be highly sensitive as these molecules are found in approximately 10 times lower concentration in mice than in humans. This MS is not designed to be a routine clinical analysis tool.
