- Yle is requesting a bid for Finnish sign language interpreting for the New Music Competition 2026 (UMK 2026), which will be broadcast live from Tampere's Nokia Areena on February 28, 2026 from 9:00 p.m. to 11:15 p.m. Interpretation needed: UMK 2026 all spoken parts and song lyrics must be interpreted into Finnish sign language. The broadcast languages are mainly Finnish and English, but occasionally other languages may also be used. The lyrics of the songs are in Finnish or English. Duties of the tenderer:- Responsible for all planning and implementation related to UMK 2026 sign language interpretation in cooperation with Ylen with. - Interpretation can be carried out either at Yle's or the provider's facilities and equipment.- The provider can, if he wishes, also include in his offer the technical-production implementation (image and sound production of the interpretation and implementation of the visual appearance of the interpretation).
