Description:
The municipality of Urjala is requesting offers for student transportation for the school years 2024 2025, 2025 2026 and 2026 2027. In addition, the contract includes an option to extend the purchase for the academic year 2027 2028.
The subject of the purchase is school transportation in Urjala municipality and to or from nearby municipalities. NecessaryThe objects of the spring request are school transport for elementary school students in Urjala municipality.
The objects are described in more detail in the attachments of the request for tender. Changes are coming to the destinations during the contract period due to the school network reform. Anticipated changes have been noted in the tender documents.
The customer arranges oppsea transport primarily using the existing line traffic. If the bus route or schedule is not suitable for the school trips of the pupil who has received a positive school transport decision, or if the pupil's other criteria for granting school transport are met, arrangements will be made for the pupil's schoolutransportation as an order. Transport students are preschoolers - 9th graders.
Teaching activities organized outside the school and other similar transportation needed by the municipality (e.g. for kindergarten children) are ordered separately.
Procurement is divided into sub-areas by route. Transportation services can e.garjo to one or more routes.
The routes include morning transports and afternoon return transports from Urjala schools.
The tender concerns the handling of passenger traffic for the following destinations
under a public transport or taxi license:
