Description:
This is not a request for tender or a procurement notice, but an advance notice of a future procurement. The object of the acquisition is the planning services for the renovation of Varia Hiekkaharju.
The procurement exceeds the EU threshold value and is carried out through an open procedure.
VTK real estate Oy acts as the implementer of the project. The contract form of the object is a project management contract. Designers are
in a contractual relationship with VTK Kiinteistoet Oy throughout the project. The site is exceptionally demanding in terms of design.

Varia currently organizes vocational training at four locations: Hiekkaharju, Koivukyla, Myyrmaki and Aviapolis. In the future, teaching activities will be concentrated in three locations: Hiekkaharju, Vehkala and Tikkurila competence campus. VTK Kiinteistoet Oy operates in all three locations as the entity responsible for project development and construction.
The Hiekkaharju renovation project includes spaces for a total of 1,540 students. The building complex of the project is extensive about 23,500 brm2 and the premises are used by the security sector, machine and production technology, building technology, building construction sector, cleaning and real estate services, surface treatment sector and the restaurant and catering sector.
