The Projects are responsible for implementing the projects.
VT 5 Leppavirta -Kuopio project includes improvement of road plans VT 5 at Leppavirta, VT 5 Improvement between
Leppavirta fire fabric and VT 5 Improvement between Palokangas-Humalajoki.
VT 5 23 Karvio The Point project includes the improvement of the road plan VT 23 The whole formed by Karvio.
VT 5 Leppavirta-Kuopio project Highway 5 is partially built in 2+1 lanes and partly 2+2-lane mid-lane
to the highway about 32 km in length, including the necessary road, street, and connections and bridges. The project will also be implemented
noise protection and groundwater protection.
VT 23 Karvio Kanava project VT 23 improves at the Karvio Canal by about 2 km by building a new one, about 165
m Long bridge over the canal. In addition, the project will build two underpasses and the necessary street and road connections and the necessary
pedestrian and cycling connections.
VT 5 Leppavirta-Kuopio project will be implemented in two total price-based contracts with either ST or STK contract format.
VT 23 The Karvio Kanava project will be implemented as one KU-contractor.
