Description:
The North Savo ELY Center will launch with this contract notice to acquire a bidding plan by the project "VT 6 Improvement between Onkamo-Honkavaara, Tohmajarvi and Joensuu, Road Plan".
Highway 6 from Loviisa to Kajaani is the most important in Finland's most important southern North highway. The highway is part of the Ten-T network. Highway 6 belongs to the main bus service class II under the Ministry of Transport and Communications Main Passage Regulation.
The design section begins at the village of Onkamo, the municipality of Tohmajarvi, north of the junction of highway 9 and ends in the city of Joensuu half to the Honkavaara level interface (VT 6 x MT 484 x MT 492). The design section is in length
About 17 km. The design area is located in the North Karelia province in the areas of the city of Joensuu and tohmajarvi.
The purpose of the road plan is to achieve the target state set on highway 6 between Onkamo -Honkavaara. On the highway, 2 km long 2+2 lane bypass lanes for Elasuo (new alignment) and north of Tikkala (on the present line). The bypass period periods are implemented in the middle of the lane. Game fences are implemented on the highway and the highway is illuminated in size with the design section. The speed limit is increased by almost all 80 km/h sections, only 80 km/h for Honkavaara junctions. The necessary noise protection will be made for the road period.
