- The acquisition will be carried out as part of the Archipelago Sea Gypsum project managed by the Southwest Finland ELY Center. The Archipelago Gypsum project is funded through a water protection efficiency program of the Ministry of the Environment. The aim of the Archipelago Gypsum project is to significantly reduce the leaching of solids and phosphorus from the fields to waterways by handling the Archipelago Sea catchment area and 50,000 ha arable land in the Western Uusimaa. The acquisition is described in more detail in the attached offer documents.
