• Description:
• The municipality of Kolar acquires expert services for the Ylläs export tire business group project in accordance with the project plan. The project measures include modeling of possible implementation methods for the DMC (sales organization) to be established in the area and its financial profitability. The broader goal of the project is the promotion of Ylläs' melting pot tourism, product development and the development of tour operator cooperation. about the sales organization model/models suitable for the tourism area with their justifications. and - Modeling the business of the sales organization: operating model(s), calculations and recommendations on how sales are organized in practice, which sales channels to model includes how the operation will be resourced and made profitable. The expert work included in the tender request will be carried out in close cooperation with the customer's representatives. The target schedule for the work is March-August 2026. The client and Visit Ylläs as an expert partner are responsible for the background investigations related to modeling. In addition to the expert work, the customer organizes workshops as his own work, where tourism entrepreneurs of the region are involved in modeling the DMC concept. It is hoped that the selected service provider will participate to workshops (2-4 pieces x 2 hours) in an expert role. The client and Visit Ylläs produce a background report on the conditions for DMC's operation as their own work. The background check has already produced information about what kind of DMC models...
